1977 - THE BEGINNINGS OF GENERAL SERVEI

We started out in Granollers with 1 machine and 7 people working in a small building. We got off to a strong start with clients such as Gior, RAM and Pronto. What today is known as a "business-idea" came from a pack of 6 bottles of mineral water, the shrink packaging of which we improved right away...

... and was when we won our first order from a major client who is still loyal to us today.

1979 - TOWARDS PROMOTIONAL MARKETING IN THE PUBLISHING SECTOR

We enter a new field: press and publishing promotions with a major project for Garbo magazine. We implemented logistical solutions for large volumes and opened up a new market.

We always learn from the solutions we develop for our clients.

1982 - GOING FOR NEW TECHNOLOGY

We undertake investments such as the first Sitma machine ... Actually, nowadays we work with dozens of these and other machines, many of which were developed using our own technology. s.

And if we have to face up to a new challenge for our clients, we use all our technology and creativity to offer them the best solution.

1984 - MOVING STRONGLY INTO DIRECT MARKETING

We continue to grow: in two years we double our production capacity and embark on another venture: Direct Marketing: We start to work with clients such as RACC, CEAC, Damart, Venca and G&J offering them solutions to personalize their mail.

Nowadays we prepare delivery to the Post Office according to the regulations of Spain, Germany, France and Great Britain and .. ¡who knows how far we can go!

1992 - GROWING AND GROWING...


We continue to grow and develop new projects. We incorporate a new production plant in Granollers, specializing in the more complex Promotional Marketing services for our Large Consumer clients.

We meet approval standards to work with sensitive products, strictly respecting the agreed timing.

1996 - WE OPEN UP IN MADRID

The expansion of GS continues and reaches Madrid, with a new factory in Torrejón de Ardoz. In this way our production capacity continues to grow. New technology, more infrastructure, more service.

All to offer our clients the quality and service guarantee they deserve.

2002 - DEVELOPING

Research and Development (R+D) becomes an ever more important priority for General Servei.

Our machinery is constantly renewed and improved with the exclusive developments of our engineers.

For example, with the creation of ink-jet printer controllers with in-house developed software and hardware.
